All Publer needs from you, is the link to a Video on Facebook.

Facebook video URLs look like these:

  • https://www.facebook.com/PublerNation/videos/vb.427932330594458/884567398264280/?type=2&theater
  • https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=884567398264280
  • https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=884567398264280

There are several ways you can find the URL of a Facebook Video and they're pretty simply.

  1. From the Newsfeed/Timeline, if the Video comes from a Share, i.e. "XXXXX shared YYYYY's video", right click on "video" and click "Copy Link Address" as shown below. That's the Video URL Publer needs from you.

  2. From the Newsfeed/Timeline, If the Video is not a Share, meaning a Page/Person actually uploaded it, hover the mouse over the timestamp, right click and then click "Copy Link Address" as shown below. That's the Video URL Publer needs from you.

  3. If you're on the Video page, meaning not on the Newsfeed/Timeline, you can simply copy the URL from your browser's address bar as shown below. That's the Video URL Publer needs from you.

  4. You can also ask Facebook to give you the Video URL. This is the cleanest way, but requires more steps than the previous methods. After a Video has started playing (whether in theater mode or not), right click on it and click "Show video URL". Copy the URL inside the box as shown below. That's the Video URL Publer needs from you.

Now you can go back to Publer, paste the URL you just copied into the Video URL field

and finish up your video post. You can either Schedule/Post the HD (High Definition) version or the HQ (High Quality) version of the Video. HQ videos are faster to process. Also, make sure the Video from your URL is Public; otherwise Publer won't be able to process it. Make sure that you're not violating any copyrights or Facebook Policies.
