What does this mean?

LinkedIn Trusts Us

When using Publer for your LinkedIn Profile & Pages, rest assured that what you're using has now gotten LinkedIn's approval. 

Being accepted to this program is highly bureaucratic and you really need to convince LinkedIn that what you've built / are building is worth their consideration. This was the 3^rd time that we applied and finally got accepted. 3^rd time's a charm, right?

Company & Showcase Pages

One of the biggest privileges of being part of this program is the ability to support LinkedIn Company & Showcase Pages using LinkedIn's v2 API. They were temporarily disabled after LinkedIn deprecated their v1 API on March 1^st.

If you've already added your Company & Showcase Pages to Publer, you will have to reauthenticate them. Once you do so, you can start scheduling & view insights right away.

P.S. If you're trying to reauthenticate a Showcase Page and get an error, please contact us. Showcase Pages are slightly different from Company Pages and we need to manually "fix" the existing ones. Newly added ones will work right away.

Native Photo Uploads & Multi-photo Posts

Photos, including multi-photo posts, published via Publer on both Profiles & Pages will appear natively as if you posted them using LinkedIn directly.

Before, photos published via Publer would appear as links to the photos ðŸ¤®

Post Callbacks

For posts to your LinkedIn Profile & Pages you can now schedule:

• A follow up comment
  
  
  
  
• Automatic sharing (i.e. post something to a LinkedIn Company Page & automatically share it to your LinkedIn Profile)
  
  
  
  
• Automatic deletion (i.e. delete the post after 24 hours) 

Insights For LinkedIn Profiles

With Publer Analytics you will now be able to see post insights also for LinkedIn Profiles.

Unfortunately we will no longer be able to keep track of your number of connections. Insights for LinkedIn Pages will continue to work as before.

Coming Soon: Native Video Uploads & Mentioning

Videos will continue to be posted as links when using Publer. In order to support posting videos natively, we need to go through yet another bureaucratic process.

The same goes for mentioning other people & pages.
